Todd and Suzie met across (or rather over) a crowded dance floor at a local swing dance four years ago and have been together ever since. They’ve performed for audiences around the bay area from Davis to Monterey and down the steps of San Francisco City Hall. They presently live in Point Richmond with their kitties, Bella and Quickstep.

Suzie Hardt pronounced her intention to become a professional dancer to the world at the mature age of seven. She has been dancing and performing competitive ballroom dance and Latin American dancing for 16 years, competing in Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, and London. She has choreographed a number of modern, tango, and ballroom pieces for the stage including waltzes, foxtrot, mambo, salsa, swing, rumba, cha cha, and Argentine Tango.  She danced and performed with the salsa troupe, Tribu Nueva and appeared as a featured dancer in the film “Swing” starring Jaquline Bisset. She presently owns and operates Marin Ballroom Dance Theater (Suzie’s Studio), a dance studio in San Rafael and works part time for a civil engineering company.

Todd Marsden has been competing in ballroom and Latin for 4 years. Prior to dancing ballroom, he was a swing dancer, and danced Lindy Hop regularly around the Bay Area for many years as well as in Herrang, Sweden. He was a dancer in the PBS swing documentary, “Big Band Magic”.  He also performs as a singer and has sung with the San Francisco Bach Choir and the Broadway Singers. He runs his own singing group, for which he also plays the guitar. When not dancing,  Todd teaches second grade. He has coached basketball, soccer, and water polo.
